SUPPORT FOR WHISTLEBLOWERS (TRUTHTELLERS our Term)
This listing is being made available for those who are either Contemplating, Currently Experiencing or are Close to the End of an Ethical Dilemma at their place of employment concerning information, such as but not limited to what is listed below, that you reasonably believe reveals:
(1) A violation of a law, rule, or regulation;
(2) A specific danger to employees and/or to public health or safety; or
(3) Fraud, gross mismanagement, gross waste of funds, or abuse of authority; or
(4) Refusing to participate in an activity, policy, or practice if you believe participation would Constitute a violation of a federal health or safety law; or
(5) Cause you to have a reasonable fear of serious injury to yourself, other employees, or members of the public.
If you are attempting to make something right that in your professional opinion is being ignored by improper Organizational Behavior, you may want to discuss the issue with one of the listed contacts and get an outside second opinion. Your honesty and integrity may be protected by the law.
The e-mail addresses below are being offered by those who have already been either publicly or privately branded as Truthtellers by their organizations in which they are now or formerly employed for the purpose of providing their personal experiences to answer questions that will help others who are experiencing similar circumstances. Regardless of where one is along the path of being highly involved in the Ethical Dilemma decision to correct something wrong, either organizationally or with a product line, the individual trying to make such corrections quickly finds themselves to be a target of organizational retribution, especially if they persist in their pursuit of trying to make something right.
We all feel that our personal experiences as Truthtellers could be of help to others who feel lost, rejected or who have been made to feel that they have little or no worth. Those of us who have already been through the Truthtelling experience know how important it is to have access to someone outside the organization who can provide a true and accurate reaLity check to help with the very real feelings of complete isolation from the rest of the organization, even those who were formerly good friends and colleagues.
Because of our own personal experiences with Truthtelling, we know that those who may be having great difficulty understanding why you are being treated so poorly for simply trying to do the right thing for your company organization or customers may now be questioning whether you are out of step or something similar. This is a normal reaction to the poor treatment being received from within the organization and that is why an independent outside REALITY CHECK is so important so you can relate what is said to your own current circumstances. In this way your questions can be answered relative to the former experiences of others and that will at least let you know that you are not losing your mind and that you are still the ethical person you were before everyone turned against you.
